Red LED light may not be bright enough for you.
This device may not be bright enough for you if you read older paperbacks. It all depends on the size of the print and how yellow the page is.

Poor Design
Had to return this product. Battery compartment too short for batteries. Therefore, batteries could not be inserted and product was useless.
